1. Local Data Storage

Gear Sync Pro is a desktop application. All inventory details, customer logs, settings, and physical shelf locations are stored in a database located directly on your local computer's hard drive. We do not host your database on our servers.

2. Encryption & Security

Sensitive credentials, such as eBay developer tokens, Shopify access keys, and shipping integration details, are encrypted before being saved to your local drive. This prevents unauthorized applications or users from accessing your e-commerce credentials.

3. Secure E-commerce Connections

When you sync inventory or fulfill orders, Gear Sync Pro transmits data directly to Shopify, eBay, and UPS servers via secure, encrypted HTTPS channels. Your credentials and store data do not route through any third-party intermediary servers managed by us.

4. Payments Processing

If you use our Stripe Invoicing feature, all payment transactions are handled directly and securely by Stripe. Gear Sync Pro does not collect, access, or store credit card numbers, bank account credentials, or processing profiles.

5. No Selling or Sharing

Because your database remains under your physical control on your local network, we cannot sell, rent, or share your salvage yard’s inventory levels, sales revenue, customer histories, or pricing margins with any third parties.
